This living room serves the purpose but add a little color and cohesiveness brings this room to life! A living room with warmth and drama. Using the homeowner's furnishings (except for the artwork) this living room is a place the whole family wants to be! This is a teacher workroom without assigned work zones. Subsequently, it fell into an overwhelming mess. Every flat service lends itself to being covered and then stacked upon. Designing a work space the way it is used is essential. Providing enough countertop or work top space is crucial. Mounting the cabinets off the countertops and defining the work zones keeps areas spacious and clutter-free! This room has great bones, quality furniture but lacks warmth, pop and an invitation to stay. Warm and cohesive. Furniture is brought together working with the existing furniture and their own accessories that had been hidden in closets. This house sold in 4 days! This church and school kitchen was barely used as intended because of its lack of organization. It had became a storage area. The items being stored were removed and stored appropriately. The areas were defined as the pantry zone, the prep zone and sink zone. The pantry was divided into cans, pastas, boxed foods, desserts, etc. and labeled, of course. Below the prep zone table top are the gloves, sacks, napkins, containers used for preparing any meals. It's time & energy saving to keep the items close to the area of their use! Bon Appetit. But the treasures on missed in this long hallway. Collections can be a story told on a shelf if displayed correctly. If you have collections show them off in sets with lighting and greenery. You don't want to bake if you have to go into this cabinet! Cookie cutters, stones, baking pans and pots are a jumbled mess. Shelves divide the categories for easy accessibility. The bottom of any cabinet can be difficult without pull-out baskets to access every item. No space wasted! Even while watching Tv a family can converse, share and be together. Joining the seating and providing a focal point brings smiles on any face in the room. Spare bedrooms becomes the office, the craft room, the gift wrapping center and scrapbook central - until you can't do any of those things because of lack of organization. Shelves installed get items off the floor and contained. A craft table with drawers was provided for scrapbooking. Drawers give easy access to the current page in progress as well as necessary supplies. The office desk was provided with an Action center to sort mail when it arrives. Gifts and wrapping supplies can be hid in the closet until the appropriate time. Surprise! Have you ever moved and it's months later before you get to the garage boxes? And, the boxes have multiplied because as you are unpacking the house, you realize you don't know what do do with certain items so you pitch them to the garage? On top of the other boxes? This is what it looks like! Call a professional! Going through each box and sorting like items provided OCD with a clear vision. In 5 hours, this home owner gained a garage to park in, a wood working zone, a seasonal storage area, a hand tool wall unit and a lawn care area. The boxes in the foreground were gathered to be donated to a charity. This area lacks a visual interest, cohesiveness and warmth. Pack away the personal items and bring together complimentary features that showcase the room's architecture. Entertaining with friends or Tea for Two - This area invites, comforts and rejuvenates.
