About: Organize Contain Design O ·C ·D was conceptualized in 2004 by Susan Ramey. After working as a registered nurse since 1991 she realized, as much as she loved the emergency room, she wanted to share her talent for organizing with others. Though an ER seems chaotic to an outside observer, it is actually an environment of order, structure, rhythm and productivity. Today's busy households and offices seem to run at a similar pace, and without order can fall into chaos and confusion. Susan and her team saw the value of a structured environment could be in any living or working space. After applying it in their own lives, they wanted to share it with others.
Organize Contain Design, was named with an obvious play on the initials OCD. OCD is most commonly known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is a disorder defined by recurrent, unwelcome thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions) that OCD sufferers are compelled to perform per the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation. Susan hasn’t been diagnosed with the disorder but she has been accused of having it from time to time. Although Susan had "staged" over the years her personal homes for sale she wasn't introduced to the profession until 2005 at a professional organizing conference in San Diego. She is certified in Staging by Interior Arrangements, a real estate staging and interior redesign training company for professionals and by the Interior ReDesign Institute Specialists (IRIS). What's in it for you? Once you have your home or business, aligned with your values, you are free to experience the treasures in your life and deal efficiently with life's curves. O ·C ·D customizes systems for you and your lifestyle, restoring your time to enjoy the priorities in your life.
